THE FOUNDING STATEMENT.

When a man from Trachis warned Dienekes — the Spartan soldier Herodotus would later call the bravest man at Thermopylae — that the Persian archers were so numerous their arrows would blot out the sun, Dienekes didn't flinch. He said: Then we shall fight in the shade.

That wasn't bravado. It was clarity. The odds weren't changing the mission. The darkness wasn't changing the answer. They had come to hold a pass, and they were going to hold it.

This shirt is for the person who has made peace with the odds against them. Who is not waiting for better conditions. Who fights where they stand, with what they have, against whatever is in front of them.
